Are you experiencing "Stuckage"?

Is there an area of your life that is causing you anxiety or dissatisfaction right now? Are you stuck in some area of you life such as work/career or your relationship/marriage, your finances? Being stuck or frustrated could be as easy as something being incomplete or unfinished. Incompletions are energy sucks that often fly below our radar. They sap our energy and creativity and cause us to withdraw and doubt ourselves.

Incompletions can be as easy as clutter in you environments. Some common examples are: clutter in your house, car, office, desk or desktop, files. Old to-dos that you know you aren’t going start or finish, unopened mail, unanswered e-mails, e-mails to send, or computer back ups.

Incompletions also show up as resentments, grudges or broken promises, undelivered communications, put off visits or phone calls.

Some bigger incompletions are not finishing a degree, certificate program, an article or report.

Pick two things that are in your way (incompletions) and complete them this week and you will be amazed at the shift in your attitude about things.

You don’t necessarily have to complete the situation but start the process:

1. What is incomplete?
2. What will have it be complete for you? Be specific. What will it look like when complete?
3. What action or actions do you need to start right away? Write them down.
4. Schedule your actions and be clear about when you intend to be finished.
5. Do you need a support system, a buddy to hold you accountable?
6. Do you need any structures like calendars, schedules, displays, tracking systems?
7. Start something right away

Complete these two incompletions and you will be amazed at how you feel and how these actions will pull every area of your life forward as well.
